Terms of Service

1. Service

ClipBro is an online service that uses AI to turn long videos (YouTube link or upload) into short vertical clips with cuts, captions and graphics. Features depend on your plan. Features marked “soon” (for example publishing to social platforms) are not yet part of the contract.

2. Account

An account is required (email link or Google sign-in). You must be of legal age and provide correct information. Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity on your account.

3. Plans and payment

We offer a Free plan and paid plans (Creator €19, Pro €49, Business €149 per month; 30, 300, 1,200 and 4,000 video minutes per month respectively). The prices and features shown on the website at the time of order apply; yearly billing carries the discount shown there.

Payment is processed by Stripe. Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Unused video minutes expire at the end of the billing period unless stated otherwise.

4. Term and cancellation

You may cancel paid plans at any time effective at the end of the current billing period, in the customer portal or by email. You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts for serious or repeated violations.

5. Rights to videos and indemnification

You warrant that you own all rights to the videos, audio and other content you upload or link, or that you hold all necessary permissions (in particular copyright, related rights, personality and trademark rights, and consents of persons shown or heard), to have us process and edit them into clips and to publish those clips.

You grant us a non-exclusive, purpose-limited right to store and process your content (including transfer to the providers named in the privacy policy) and to provide the results to you. Rights in your content and the clips made from it remain with you or the respective rights holder.

You indemnify us against all third-party claims arising from a breach of this warranty or from your unlawful use of the service, including reasonable legal defense costs, unless you are not responsible for the breach.

6. Acceptable use

Not allowed in particular:

processing content you have no rights to, or infringing copyright or other third-party rights;
processing illegal, violent, hateful or pornographic content;
using the service for spam, misleading mass publishing or deception;
circumventing security measures or quotas, overloading the service or reselling access;
violating the terms of platforms on which you publish clips.

7. Free plan end card

Clips made on the Free plan contain an end card “Made with ClipBro” and a subtle watermark, which you may not remove or cover. Paid plans do not include them.

8. AI output

Selection, cuts, titles, descriptions and hashtags are generated by AI and may be wrong or incomplete. You must review clips before publishing and are responsible for what you publish. We do not guarantee any particular reach.

9. Storage

Videos and clips are stored for 7 (Free), 30 (Creator) or 90 days (Pro, Business) and then deleted. Back up your results in time.

10. Liability

We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, under the Product Liability Act and where we gave a guarantee. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations and limited to foreseeable, typical damage. Otherwise liability for slight negligence is excluded.

11. Right of withdrawal for consumers

Consumers have a statutory right to withdraw from paid plans within 14 days without giving reasons. To exercise it, send a clear statement (e.g. by email to [E-Mail]). If you ask us to start the service during the withdrawal period, you owe reasonable compensation for the service already provided; the right expires once the service has been fully provided at your express request and with your acknowledgement.

12. Governing law

German law applies, excluding the UN Sales Convention. For consumers, mandatory consumer protection law of their country of residence remains unaffected.
